With more than 25 years event production and entertainment experience serving a discriminating clientele, we can truly say that your party is our passion. Our History The Warehouse Recording Studio was founded by Joe Carlo, Obie O'Brien, and Lance Quinn in 1983. Within a few short years, the Warehouse had earned a reputation as one of the best rock-and-roll studios in the world.
Artists such as Bon Jovi, Skid Row, Madonna, Led Zeppelin, and Ozzy Osbourne soon flocked to record within its brick walls, which also provided rehearsal space for the first Live Aid concert event in 1985. The Warehouse was sold in 1989 but continued producing hit records for musicians ranging from the Dave Matthews Band, Sheryl Crow, and Alanis Morisette to the Black Crows, 3 Doors Down, the Barenaked Ladies, Wyclef Jean, Will Smith, INXS, Live, and Oasis. Its doors finally closed in 2008, when it was converted into a unique private party and event space with much of the original charm and detail that drew world-class recording artists to Philadelphia. Today you will find that the Warehouse features the unique design of the studio, including the high-end New York and Los Angeles sound and lighting systems.
